Stalis Beach Side Studios in the center of Stalis consists of two warmy and comfortable rooms. Both of them are fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. Free wifi, air condition, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, oven, electric kettle, coffee maker and kitchen utensils, private balcony with sea view, private bathroom are all included to our rooms.
The complex is located just 20m away from the sandy beach and very close to the main road where you can find supermarkets, car rentals, souvenir shops, restaurants, fast-foods and bars.

A few words about Stalis
Stalis or Stalida is one of the best tourist resorts in Crete located on the northeast coast of Crete just 30 km from Heraklion’s international airport or seaport, between Hersonissos and Malia.
Stalis features a charming sandy beach that stretches for miles, attracting sunbathers, swimmers, and water sports enthusiasts alike.
The beach is lined with an array of tavernas, restaurants, cafes, and bars, providing plenty of options for dining and drinks with stunning views of the Aegean Sea. Visitors can indulge in traditional Cretan cuisine, fresh seafood, and locally produced wines. The vibrant nightlife in Stalis is more laid-back than its neighbouring towns, making it ideal for those who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere.
Apart from the marvelous beach, it offers opportunities for exploration and adventure. The nearby Minoan Palace of Malia, one of the most significant archaeological sites on the island, showcases Crete’s rich history and ancient culture. A short trip inland leads to the scenic mountains, perfect for hiking and discovering hidden villages steeped in history and tradition.
Stalis is the ideal place to base yourself if you plan to explore east Crete even without a car. The town of Stalida is within walking distance of public transport (ie. buses), so you can easily explore nearby towns like Hersonissos, Malia, and Gouves without renting a car in Crete.
How to get to Stalis
By air:
There are a few ways to get to Stalis Crete from 2 airports: Heraklion and Sitia Airport.
Stalis is easier accessible from Heraklion Airport, 32 kilometers (20 miles) west of the village.
From the Heraklion city, there are several transportation options, including car rental, taxi and bus services.
You can take the public bus KTEL from the airport to Heraklion city center and then board a connecting bus to Stalis. The total journey time is about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
By sea:
If you arrive Crete by ferries from the port of Athens (Piraeus), then you have the choice to rent a car at the Heraklion Port. The ferry trip typically takes around 9 hours.

Stalis is best known for its long sandy beach with shallow water, which extends to the east till Malia. The beach is broken into two parts by a short rocky cape. Nearby there is the Byzantine Church of Agios Ioannis, dating back to 1600. The beach of Stalis is very well organized with umbrellas, lifeguards, beach volley courts, showers, beach bars, water sports, changing rooms, and generally anything that a well-organized beach has.

For the nature lovers, there is the option to rent a bike and explore the coastal paths or take scenic hikes in the nearby hills and mountain like Mohos.
